As Principal Consultant for Penumbra Group, Inc., Steve provides his expertise in the areas of sales strategy development, competitive intelligence, and organizational analysis for the company. Steve works closely with Jennifer Shirkani, the company's President and chief architect for content and delivery mandates, and together they form an enthusiastic, formidable team.
Steve has also created, developed and led a number of highly successful sales and management teams in a variety of business environments and his experience includes key roles with: market intelligence giant IDC Research - specializing in content management and media research contracts; COO, Pioneer Circuits, Inc., Director of Sales for Western USA, Viasystems Group, Inc.; Manager-Strategic Business Development, Litton Electronic Materials & Components Group (now Northrop Grumman); Group Regional Sales VP, Diceon Electronics/Elexsys Intnl., Inc. (now Sanmina Corp.); and Contracts Specialist, Datapoint Corp. Steve writes and speaks on the topics of consultative selling, competitive intelligence, and sales strategy development.
Steve received his B.A. in Anthropology (Honors Program) from UC-Irvine and has an A.S. with a concentration in chemistry. He is also a member of various academic and professional groups such as: The Society for Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) • Southern California and New England Chapters, the American Anthropology Association, and the Strategic Account Management Association (SAMA).
